Anna Reznichenko

Biographical Sketch

Anna Reznichenko, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician researcher amassing a diverse experience in academic and industrial research settings in different countries and disease areas, with the chronic kidney disease as the main field of interest. Largely employing an inter-disciplinary approach, she has been performing studies on the interface of clinical, experimental, and bioinformatics research to advance an understanding of genetics of complex disorders. In her current role as a Principal Scientist at the department of Translational Science & Experimental Medicine, Early Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism Biopharmaceuticals at AstraZeneca R&D in Gothenburg, Sweden, she focuses on precision medicine, biomarkers, drug target identification, big data analysis and visualization, experimental medicine studies, and other aspects of translational strategies. Besides supporting drug projects, she is active in academic collaborations and supervises students. Her research output results in publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at conferences.
